Thick Dribbles?

November 2012

It is very annoying to get thick dribbles on a pot during glazing. Efforts to remove them by rubbing with finger often results in removing glaze on body of pot and getting thin patches. Some people use a knife but this can cause thick areas to flake off. The best tool is a small kitchen sieve, which you can pick up cheaply at the supermarket. Use the curved surface to allow specific spots to be rubbed down without touching the other areas.
