Stencils, unglazed works, flat coils

July 1995

Stencils cut from plastic lids of containers such as yoghurt, ice cream, margarine etc last much longer than paper stencils.

Unglazed sculptural works can be coated with a light application of liquid floor wax - gives a soft sheen and makes them easier to dust.

February 1998

Do your coils always want to go into flat straps rather than nice round coils? Twist the strap like a piece of liquorice and keep rolling - a perfect coil results.
