Pushing the Boundaries – Handbuilding Workshop – completed

SPC Inc is pleased to welcome Jackie Gasson to present a series of workshops for our members. The series will be titled ‘Pushing the Boundaries’ and relates to handbuilding, sculpture and wheel work.

The first workshop on offer is handbuilding and incorporates claywork using a box. Following workshops will incorporate a mix of clay work disciplines.

(includes $7 entry fee and one piece bisque firing)

Non-members $87
(includes $7 entry fee – firing not included)*
*If you become a member, entry and firing will be included, and as a member you will get first access to future workshops.

Time: Full Day 9am – 4pm

(right next to PCYC Sandgate enter via gate in car park)

Materials:
Clay will be available for sale. Suggest BRT, Raku clays. Clays that have a bit of grog in them.

Bring:
A cardboard box, not too large, not too small… a wine cask is about the right size.
A piece of your own pottery to show.
Any tools you like to use – the club also has a selection

Catering:
Due to Covid restrictions, we are asking everyone to bring their own lunch. Tea, coffee and morning tea biscuits will be provided.

Numbers are limited, and will be allocated on first to pay basis. Payment can be made at the club or by direct deposit to the club’s bank account below. Please use your name as reference.
